4. Foodies Kennewick

Address: 2701 Columbia Park Trail, Kennewick, WA 99336

Foodies Kennewick provides a high-quality dining experience, ideal for a hearty lunch or early dinner, serving from 11 AM to 8 PM. While it may not be the most affordable, the exceptional food and unique ambiance prove it to be well worth the expense.

Its charming decor and attractive charm welcome you upon entering this “hole in the wall” restaurant. It’s this unexpected charm that adds to the overall dining experience.

The service at Foodies is generally proficient, although, on the odd occasion, it may lack. Despite this minor inconsistency, the staff maintains a professional demeanor ensuring your dining experience is smooth.

The food at Foodies, beyond any shadow of a doubt, takes the spotlight. The Chili Burger, served fresh and succulent, is one of their standout dishes and could easily make the best burger list. The well-balanced and tasty cocktails complement the meals, making your experience at Foodies well-rounded and delightful.

5. Bonefish Grill Richland

Address:: 133 W Gage Blvd, Richland, WA 99352

Bonefish Grill Richland, an American Seafood restaurant, operates from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, offering a mixed bag of dining experiences with some items on the affordable side.

Walking into Bonefish Grill, you can expect a busy atmosphere, especially during the happy hour. It’s a conveniently located spot, perfect for unwinding after a long day with a varied range of drinks and tasty appetizers.

However, the service can be a bit of a letdown, especially for larger groups. Despite the best efforts of some staff members, the lack of professionalism from others could lower your experience. If you’re planning to dine with a large party, this is a point worth considering.

As far as food goes, the experience can be inconsistent. Fish dishes come with a fair warning of potential bones. On the other hand, the appetizers stand out for their flavors and quality, with the Bang Bang Shrimp being a crowd favorite. Overall, something good to try out, especially since it’s budget-friendly.

6. Porter’s Real Barbecue

Address:: 1092 George Washington Way. Richland, WA 99352

Porter’s Real Barbecue, an American barbecue joint, operates from 11 AM to 7 PM, with pricing that is affordable for select items.

Upon stepping into Porter’s, you are greeted with a casual, relaxed dining atmosphere. The restaurant offers a range of barbecue staples, including brisket and pulled pork, all of which you can order by weight – a flexible option for those wanting to tailor their portions.

However, if you are a rib enthusiast, you might find yourself disappointed. Ribs here may not always be available, and the quality can be a matter of debate. Understanding of meat quality by some staff members might also be questionable.

Regarding the other offerings, opinions seem divided. Some find the brisket, pulled pork, and the variety of sides to be very good. However, others feel that the sausage is jelly-like, the brisket mushy, and the supposed spicy sauce is less spicy than ketchup. The mac and cheese also received mixed reviews.

7. Anthony’s HomePort Columbia Point

While the service at Anthony’s is generally commendable, there might be the odd snarky comment, an exception to the otherwise professional and friendly service.

At this seafood restaurant, fish options are unexpectedly limited. The Northwest Chop Chop Salad, which features shrimp and crab meat, is not recommended at all. It consists of a bed of greens topped with mini shrimp, with additional elements like cherry tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, cheese, and a good portion of avocado. It’s an okay side salad, but as a $38 main, it is more pricey.

Stepping into Applebee’s, you can expect a friendly atmosphere with the staff welcoming you with open arms. Even your service animals are welcome here, making it an inclusive space for all guests.

While known for its relaxed, casual dining environment, this particular Applebee’s has a more lively atmosphere with a touch of a nightclub feel, especially in the bar area. This deviation from the typical Applebee’s experience brings a refreshing and fun twist that locals have greatly appreciated.

The service at Applebee’s shines, with the bartenders and servers going above and beyond to ensure a seamless dining experience. They handle the orders with grace, maintaining friendly interactions and timely service, which only adds to the overall enjoyment.
