1. The Cottage

Address: 10029 NE 183rd St, Bothell, WA 98011

The Cottage is the ideal spot for brunch, offering delicious drinks to accompany your meal. This is a kid-friendly restaurant that everyone in the family will love. This restaurant is on the pricier side of this list, with most dishes costing over $20, so you’ll need to consider that.

The restaurant environment is cozy and small, with occasional live music performances. I recommend reserving a spot at the Cottage since it’s often packed, and if possible, try to reserve a patio seating if the weather forecast is sunny. They have a beautiful patio with cute lighting and decor.

2. Kro Bar

Address: 10116 Main St, Bothell, WA 98011

This bar is a great place to go for various drink choices and snacks. This is a 21+ bar, with no minors allowed. This bar exceeds in service, with some of the fastest service, especially for the number of people here.

Kro Bar has spectacular Mary Pickford drinks, and if you have a sweet tooth like me, you’ll love their caramelized banana cake. I highly recommend you reserve a spot here since it’s often fairly full.

The environment at Kro Bar is cozier, with an older vibe that you’d typically see in Broadway movies.

3. Crystal Creek Cafe

Address: 22620 Bothell Everett Hwy, Bothell, WA 98021

This is another great restaurant for brunch, and all the food here is freshly cooked. This is a kid-friendly restaurant that won’t break the bank.

This cafe started in the 1980s and has a vintage 1940s-themed environment. Crystal Creek also has a happy hour with great deals on drinks. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and has a very attentive staff. This place has some of the best crispy bacon and delicious French toast.

4. Ta Joia

Address: 22833 Bothell Everett Hwy UNIT 151, Bothell, WA 98021

Ta Joia is a unique restaurant offering Latin-Asian food. You can pick from a wide option of Teriyaki, fried rice, finger foods, meats, and more.

The food here is delicious, and the staff is extra kind at this family-run business as well. If you’re a fan of spicy food, you can test your limits with their spicy pork, which is extra spicy yet flavorful and tasty.

The environment is more modern, with around ten seats to the left when you walk in the doors and a large menu on the right. The decor is simple, with a few paintings and plants all around.

5. Bay Leaf Bar & Grill

Bay Leaf Bar & Grill (Image Credit: Bay Leaf Bar & Grill)

Address: 18505 Bothell Way NE #105, Bothell, WA 98011

This is an excellent Indian restaurant that is popular in the Bothell area. This is a restaurant in downtown Bothell that is very inviting and cozy inside.

The staff is extra attentive here, and you never have to ask for anything you need. Bay Leaf is the perfect place for date night since it also has a fairly intimate atmosphere. The lighting is softer, and there are intricate decorations all over.

They have mouth-watering butter chicken and chicken masala. Bay Leaf also has a wide selection of cocktails you can choose from. If you’re a fan of Indian food, you’ll love this restaurant.

6. The Bine Beer & Food

Address: 10127 Main St, Bothell, WA 98011

The Bine Beer & Food is a cozy little spot in downtown Bothell. The atmosphere was lively, with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The service was prompt, though not overly friendly. Their happy hours had great deals on beers and appetizers.

I tried the delicious bacon grilled cheese, Brussels sprouts with fried chicken, and their savory tacos. The fried chicken sandwich with honey sriracha sauce was tasty, but a bit greasy. One downside was the fries, which seemed undercooked.

Overall, The Bine offers a great beer selection and consistently good food, making it an ideal spot for an affordable date night or casual gathering.

7. Kin Dee Thai Bothell

Address: 20611 Bothell Everett Hwy, Suite A, Bothell WA 98012

At Kin Dee Thai Bothell, they have a warm, modern ambiance and some of the best Thai food in town. The black cod dumplings and fried chicken appetizer were delightful, and the hat yai chicken with sticky rice and vinegar left a lasting impression.

The cocktail menu had plenty of options as well, and I opted for the chrysanthemum vodka drink, which is a must-try. Other standout dishes included Pad Thai, Garlic Chicken, and the divine Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. The staff was attentive, kind, and made the experience even more enjoyable.

With a chic atmosphere and a diverse menu full of flavorful foods, this is a truly magnificent restaurant.

8. Korea House

Address: 20615 Bothell Everett Hwy, Bothell, WA 98012

I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service and attention to detail at Korea House. The staff proactively refilled side dishes and offered a friendly atmosphere.

The menu offered a range of flavorful dishes. My top recommendation is the Garlic Pork Belly with Squid, which features tender, classic-tasting squid. The Soft Tofu Soup was also enjoyable, and I appreciated the option to upgrade to extra spicy.

I found the restaurant clean, inviting, and family-friendly. The chicken fried rice, wanton, and vegetable stone bowl were all delicious, and the generous servings came with an array of appetizing side dishes.

Although the prices felt a bit steep, the food quality and outstanding service make Korea House a great option for a special occasion.

9. Afghan Choopan Restaurant

Address: 17121 Bothell Way NE Bothell WA 98011

This is a hidden gem that offers a delightful taste of Afghan cuisine. A warm and welcoming couple runs the restaurant in an aged pub with outdoor seating. This provides a unique ambiance suitable for family gatherings or groups of friends.

The food here is spectacular and very fresh. The chicken kabab plate was flavorful, and the bolani, spiced bread with dipping sauces, is a must-try. The rice which had a mix of raisins and spices perfectly complemented the chicken and left me craving more.

While the service was good, the food did take some time to prepare. The delicious foods here make Afghan Choopan a must-visit spot for those seeking a satisfying Afghan dining experience.

10. Amara Bistro

Address: 18333 Bothell Way NE #105, Bothell, WA 98011

This is a cozy, dimly lit restaurant offering a delicious and diverse menu. The service here is extra attentive and made me feel welcome. The servers are also knowledgeable and fast.

The arancini appetizer was divine, and I highly recommend it. My friends praised the linguine di mare and pizza, as well.

Amara Bistro is a must-try for a memorable meal. It’s located in the center of Bothell and it has plenty of parking, so that won’t be a concern for you.

11. Russell’s Restaurant & Loft

Address: 3305 Monte Villa Parkway, Bothell, WA 98021

Russell’s Restaurant & Loft is the epitome of elegance, offering an atmosphere that is both swanky and inviting. The staff is patient and attentive, ensuring a satisfying dining experience.

The steaks at Russell’s are cooked to perfection, while other delicious options like the fettuccine with prawns and the filet cooked medium rare also impress. Additionally, the remarkable sea bass, duck, and crème brûlée make this restaurant a must-visit.

Featuring beautiful wood paneling and exceptional service, Russell’s boasts a lovely old-style ambiance.

12. Grazie Ristorante Italiano

Address: 23207 Bothell-Everett Hwy, Bothell, WA 98021

Grazie Ristorante Italiano is a popular choice for those seeking delicious Italian cuisine. My recommended foods here are the Halibut Javier and Tortellini Gorgonzola.

Though a bit pricey, the friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere make the dining experience at Grazie’s great. The restaurant offers a long wine list, and dishes like the Fettuccine di Mare and Penne Pesto with added chicken are crowd-pleasers.

Grazie Ristorante Italiano caters to various preferences with a lively bar area featuring live music and an outdoor patio for a more relaxed experience. The combination of excellent food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a top choice for Italian dining.

13. Chantanee Thai Restaurant

Address: 10107 Main St, Bothell WA 98011, United States

Chantanee Thai Restaurant is one of my favorite spots for Thai food. This restaurant is highly rated, with its friendly and fast service. They also offer delicious dishes like green curry, drunken noodles, and vegetable egg rolls.

The food here is tasty and high quality, with the Panang curry with beef being a standout favorite. The pricing is a bit high compared to other Thai restaurants, but the overall experience and satisfaction with the food makes it worth it.

The environment is fairly spacious, with decoration all around. Most notably, there is a giant stone sculpture and some regular paintings throughout the restaurant.

14. Bonefish Grill

Address: 22616 Bothell Everett Hwy, Bothell, WA 98021

Bonefish Grill is a chain restaurant, which is different from the rest of this list. However, the environment makes it an ideal place to enjoy a meal with family and friends.

Some popular dishes here include salmon pasta, stuffed cod, bang bang shrimp, mahi-mahi, grilled salmon, sirloin steak, and chicken marsala. The fresh bread and oil served at the restaurant are also much-loved.

The service at Bonefish Grill is impressively fast as well, with servers being efficient, attentive, and friendly. The only thing to note here is that some of the food is a little too salty and there aren’t many vegan options.

Overall, Bonefish Grill is considered one of the best fish restaurants in the city and is a popular choice for those looking to celebrate or enjoy a great dining experience with family and friends.

15. Carolina Smoke BBQ & Catering

Address: 24118 Bothell Everett Hwy, Bldg E100

Carolina Smoke BBQ offers excellent food at a great value, making it a popular choice for those searching for delicious BBQ in Bothell. The food here is served in large portions, which can feed multiple people at a reasonable price.

The service at Carolina Smoke BBQ is casual and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners. The brisket is a standout dish, and the daily meat offerings are limited to ensure freshness and quality.

The brisket sandwich, especially when paired with the apple butter BBQ sauce is an amazing choice.
