Upon stepping into La Fuente, you will be greeted with a lively Mexican atmosphere. The traditional decor and lively hum of conversation add to the charm, making it a fun and welcoming place to dine. I love the paintings of buildings on the walls.

The service at La Fuente is exceptional. The friendly and attentive staff go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is seamless and enjoyable, from helping you navigate the menu to catering to your specific preferences, like fresh jalapenos.

La Fuente’s menu is a collection of all the best Mexican food. The Tamales, Rellanos, Enchiladas, and Tacos are all top-notch, offering a true taste of Mexican culinary tradition. The cabbage salad accompanying the chips and salsa is a pleasant surprise.

Sweetwood BBQ has made a name for itself as a delicious BBQ place that has garnered local attention. With limited operating hours from 3 PM to 8 PM, it’s an excellent choice for a late lunch or a dinner.

Sweetwood BBQ has a warm and inviting aura.  The restaurant features modern decor, with wood and metal accents throughout. The seating is comfortable and booths are cozy enough for families to enjoy a meal together. The atmosphere is friendly, and the staff members are welcoming.

The menu has plenty of meat by the pound but I find the sandwiches, particularly the pulled pork with slaw, excellent. The rice bowls are also a hit and if you are eating with a crowd, try the brisket poutine.

Located in the charming city of Wenatchee, the Windmill is a cozy, high-end dining spot that opens from 3 PM to 8 PM. Although it’s on the pricey side, it’s a fantastic choice for a celebratory dinner or a special evening meal.

The Windmill’s culinary prowess is where it truly shines. Their prime rib earns high praise for its flavors. However, the wedge salad is so delicious that it alone could suffice for a satisfying meal! Their baked potato should also be mentioned, as it’s delicious as well.

8. Shakti’s

Unfortunately, when it comes to the food, Shakti’s may fall short of expectations. Recent diners have reported that dishes such as the linguine and the 218 pasta lack depth of flavor.

Service time and food temperature have also been reported issues. Unexplained ingredient substitutions without customer consultation are another red flag. It may be worth a try, as the foods are continually changing.
