 1. Pacific Place

Address: 600 Pine St, Seattle, WA 98101

Pacific Place, founded in 1998, is one of the largest malls in Seattle, being around 335,000 square feet and 5 stories. In this mall, you can find about anything you’d want, from technology and toys to movie theaters and delicious food.

This is a higher-end shopping mall with premium products to purchase, and with the new redevelopment, Pacific Place looks modern and trendy.

Some common things you can get here are clothes, housewares, trending tech, and more. A few of the brands here include Bezel & Kiln for jewelry, Debonair Decor for decoration, and Hai Di Lao for amazing Korean BBQ

2. Pike Place Market

Address: 85 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101

Pike Place Market is arguably one of the most recognizable names when you think of Seattle. It was originally a place where farmers and consumers could exchange directly in the early 1900s.

Today, it’s a huge market spanning over 30,000 square feet of open space that has a bunch of things to shop for, from high-quality meats and fish to jewelry and collectibles. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Seattle area or if you’re planning on coming to Seattle.

There are currently over 450 stores and locations here selling everything you could want. There are even famous landmarks here, like the gum wall, and local restaurants with delicious food.

3. Westlake Center

Address: 400 Pine St, Seattle, WA 98101

If you want an upscale mall, Westlake Center is the perfect mall to go to. Westlake has some of the biggest and most recognizable luxury brands. It also has Macy’s if you want to be tighter on your dollar.

Some stores here include Nordstrom Rack, Pandora, Zara, and many other premium stores. There are also upscale eateries here, including Matcha Maiko and Pressed Juicery.

What I like about this mall is that it’s located right in the middle of downtown, so it’s easy to access, and that it lights up with festivity when there are holidays!

One thing to note is that it is a smaller mall, with around 23 stores to choose from.

4. University Village

Address: 2623 NE University Village St, Seattle, WA 98105

This is another upscale shopping center that was founded in 1956. This mall is located in the Northern Downtown area and showcases a vast array of stores and restaurants.

It takes over 300,000 square feet of space and has over 70 stores to choose from. There’s everything from dining to stores and even salons and services. The vast majority of stores here are local, so you’ll be mostly helping small local businesses by shopping here.

There are also plenty of bike racks all over this complex, and it has plenty of parking space available in and near it. There are three parking garages you can choose from. The West and South garages have EV charging available.

The environment is elegant and welcoming no matter where you go here, so you’ll definitely have a blast at University Village!

5. Wallingford Center

Address: 1815 N 45th St, Seattle, WA 98103

Wallingford Center, formerly a schoolhouse, is a smaller 17-store mall, and it’s also a completely indoor mall. So, if it’s raining and you don’t want to have to go through the rain to get to a store you want to go to, this is a good choice!

This mall mostly focuses on sustainable products that are eco-friendly, ethically sourced, fairly traded, and organic. So, if you want to be an ethical consumer, knowing that most of everything was sourced properly, this is the ideal mall to come to.

This mall is in Wallingford, and you can easily use the BART to get here. This store features Nordstrom, Kate Spade, Chipotle, and more.

6. Westfield Southcenter

Address: 2800 Southcenter Mall, Seattle, WA 98188

If you want a huge mall that’s one of the largest in the Pacific Northwest, this is it. There are hundreds of stores to choose from in this giant complex. It’s a multi-million-square-foot mall and is the largest mall in Seattle.

You could spend entire days here and not go through all the stores. I recommend you be prepared to walk a fair bit if you plan to look around for things and not just go to one particular store.

This complex has a range of different stores that fits every need, lifestyle, and budget. This mall has a modern environment and is the best mall to choose from if you want the most choices.

7. Northgate Station

Address: 401 NE Northgate Way, Seattle, WA 98125

This is a mall in Seattle, and it’s the first regional shopping center in the USA. This indoor mall has 23 large stores to choose from and is over 1-million-square-foot.

It was founded in 1950 and is still a historical piece, despite being renovated many times to fit the modern styles. It’s around 15 minutes North from Downtown Seattle.

This is the best store to go to for the most trendy and fashionable products. I would also say this mall has a selection of the best and most delicious restaurants, considering their prices.

8. Aurora Shopping Center

Address: 13025 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133

Aurora Shopping Center is a newer mall that has a few stores and services. Four of the largest stores here are Amazon Fresh, Planet Fitness, Ulta, and Ross, among a few other restaurants and services.

This isn’t a densely packed mall since most of the space is filled with parking. There are under a dozen stores here, but you can still get clothes, food, and other necessities from this mall.

9. Chinatown-International District

Address: 409 Maynard Ave S Ste P3 Seattle, WA 98104

This district was settled by Asian railroad workers in the 1800s and is rich in Asian culture to this day. From Asian restaurants to Asian grocery stores, this district is packed with all the foods and services you need.

The overall environment boasts Asian culture, with architectural and interior designs for each building. There are all East Asian cultures in this district, and I highly recommend coming here, whether you’re in the Seattle area or planning to visit.

10. Westwood Village

Address: 2600 SW Barton St, Seattle, WA 98126

This large shopping mall on the Western side of Seattle features many mega-brands.

Although there aren’t hundreds of stores here, there are a few mega-brands, like Target and QFC, that you can stop by for a variety of food and products.

There are also services like haircuts and physical therapy, among many other things. On top of that, you can choose from delicious teriyaki, fast food, bakery food, and more.

This store spans over 400,000 square feet and has served the west side of Seattle as a one-stop shopping center since 1996.

This mall is engaged in charity work with CoreGiving and has donated 27 million meals collectively to date.

11. The Outlet Collection Seattle

Address: 1101 Outlet Collection Way, Auburn, WA 98001

If you want the ideal shopping experience while in downtown Seattle, The Outlet Collection Seattle is my top recommendation.

This is another mega-mall spanning nearly 1 million square feet and houses over 140 stores, from mega-brands like Nordstrom Racks to local businesses you can shop at.

Aside from the shops here, there are also dozens of great restaurant options and snacks you’ll be sure to love, from Ihops to Auntie Anne’s.

Whether you’re looking to browse through the latest fashion trends or simply want a fun day with family and friends, this shopping center is perfect for all your needs. So, be sure to visit this amazing place and have a great time!
