The 3 Best Bellevue Summer Camps

Post created January 28, 2025

If you’re looking for a fun, safe, and educational summer camp for your kid(s) this summer, look no further than Wise Camps.

They’re a non-profit organization that’s run by two public school teachers. 90+% of the camp staff are certified teachers actively working in schools with kids and families!

The rest? Passionate professionals and individuals looking to make a positive difference in the lives of kids.

They don’t stop there though. Wise Camps has a full on support team consisting of local high school and college volunteers. Many of these volunteers are former Wise campers themselves!

Our top choice here at Seattle Travel for your Bellevue summer camp needs is Wise Camps!

The 3 Best Bellevue Summer Camps

Here are the best Bellevue Summer Camps that you should look into:

Wise Camps – Best Overall Bellevue Summer Camps

Wise Camps stands out as a nonprofit STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Math) -focused program led by passionate, current school educators who infuse every activity with real-world expertise.

Campers rotate through engaging stations—like hands-on science labs, inventive tech hubs, and creative art studios—that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning.

Each session offers a collaborative atmosphere where high school volunteers, many of whom are former campers themselves, help create an encouraging and tight-knit community.

What truly stands out about this camp is that you’re putting your kids in the care of professionals who do this day in and day out.

You know that the staff are going to understand how instruction, engagement, and differentiation is going to work. Mix that in with an entire week of hands-on and experiential learning activities, it’s a winning formula (no pun intended toward this science camp).

One of the best perks of being a teacher is that they get summers off. It says a lot about the staff at Wise Camps who work an additional 3 weeks in the summer providing kids a safe place to learn and have fun!

On top of all the learning, campers earn tickets throughout the week. When the carnival comes around, campers are able to trade their tickets in for a variety of items including icees, water balloons, squishmallows, and much more!

Wise Camps is offering a brand new activity this year called “Sports Sampler”! It’s only available at their Chinook Middle School location. Sports Sampler offers active campers the opportunity to engage in team sports and obstacle courses during the morning session – have lunch – then join in all the academic activities in the afternoon!
