Hotel 1000 debuted it’s stylish accomodations in July of 2006. With 120 luxurious guest rooms and 47 resident condos, Hotel 1000 has brought allure to Seattle. On the corner of first avenue in the 1000 block of down town Seattle Hotel 1000 stands amidst the heart of the city of Seattle. Only a few blocks from the hotel you can either walk or take a quick taxi ride to attractions such as the Seattle water front, Pike Place Market, the finest dining establishments, rustic and historical Pioneer Square, or the exciting nightlife in Belltown. Valet parking is the way to go at Hotel 1000, self parking is not available. The stylishly thoughtful bellman at the main entrance on first avenue will take care of your car and all personal belongings while you are able to escape and settle in to your guest room at the hotel. Valet pricing varies whether you are staying over night as a guest of the hotel, or if you are dining at BOKA kitchen. Valet is $33 per night for hotel guests and $9.50 if you are dining at BOKA. If you are lucky after 6:00 pm on the week nights and Saturdays you can try and find free street parking within a block or two of the hotel. Sunday street parking is always free in Seattle. Although the area surrounding the hotel is safe, it is recommended to valet your car where it is in a secure parking lot over night.

Once in the lobby at Hotel 1000 be prepared for satisfaction. To the right of the lobby make your way into a sitting room which is named the Studio with an enormous indoor fire pit where the atmosphere is ideal for small social gatherings, or meeting friends prior to dinner. Tucked in a corner on the right hand side of the Studio you will find a large interactive table top touch screen computer called The Surface. This impressive piece of technology is one of Microsoft’s ingenious marvels. Hotel 1000 is one of few hotels in the United States that offer this innovation. Something to definitely check out during your stay. The Surface is the perfect place to search out local restaurants, entertainment, or tourist activities duing your stay without visiting the concierge. The Studio is also “The” place where live musicians can be heard on the weekends in the evening. So have a glass of wine, sit back, and enjoy.

On the opposite side of the Stuido is BOKA. Hotel 1000 is proud to offer a fun and artsy kitchen to it’s guests and the public. BOKA is the place to be and be seen on the weekends and during happy hour during the week. Happy Hour is offered from 3pm to 6pm and 10pm to 12am Monday through Friday. BOKA is truly an eating mecca all on it’s own. With or without the premiere hotel towering over this dining establishment, BOKA would still flourish because of its signature crafty cocktails, delicious small plates, and wonderful service. Dining at BOKA is truly a place to enjoy good friends with good food. Dont be afraid to put the bartenders at BOKA to the ultimate test, let their creativity wow you. On a warm summer afternoon or evening the outside sidewalk is opened to the customers at BOKA. During the winter months the warm atmosphere will have you wanting your experience to last all night.

If you are a person who is wanting privacy or a quiet relaxed evening, room service is offered twenty four hours a day. If you still want a tranquil atmosphere but not complete solitude try retreating to the Library which is located on the fourth floor of the Hotel and this space will definitely allow you to relax and enjoy either your morning news or delve into a long anticipated novel. Coffee is served in the Library daily.

Time and time again I find myself back at Hotel 1000 either to enjoy the cuisine or atmosphere at BOKA, or to listen to various musicians in the Studio. Whether I am a hotel guest or customer at BOKA, I know what draws me to this sanctuary repeatedly. The people you run in to have a common bond, being treated well, being spoiled a bit, and relaxing in an intimate setting. It is no wonder why Hotel 1000 has become a familiar hotel for people far and near and has been awarded numerous times.
